Artist's Comments
8"x10" acrylic on canvas. This is a blatant copy of a famous painting done by Rosso Fiorentino, 'Angel Playing Lute'. I did it because it was cute and I needed some practice doing something other than landscape. I got the image from a calendar of angels and so I cannot vouch for the tones being acurate to the original but they are acurate for the calendar. It was fun to do and was the last thing I completed at Christmas which seemed appropriate.
